What is a solar carport?
A solar carport or a solar parking canopy is a solar mounting structure composed of a steel or aluminium main frame designed to be covered with solar panels.

The primary benefit of solar carports is utilisation of the available parking space for solar system installation, which creates roofing over the parked cars.

Compared to any other ground based solar projects, multi-span solar carports do not involve land lease cost.

The cost depends on the mounting structure type and size and the type of solar modules. Prices for solar carport structures start from 9,500 PLN.

Does a solar carport project require prior notification or full planning approval?
In Poland a solar carport of up to 35 sq. m covered area per 500 sq. m of the plot require a prior notification only (Art. 29.1 of the Polish Building Law).
Which main frame design will be the best for your needs?
Our carports have one of the two main main frame types: single or multi-span, single row aluminium structure for single-family residential carports and single or multi-span, single or double row steel structure for business parking lots. While hollow sections are the main component of aluminium main frames, steel frames are made of galvanised steel I-beams. Each carport blueprint is signed by licensed structural engineer, as required by the code.
How much energy does a solar carport produce?
The output power of any solar system depends on the number and and unit power of the solar modules used in it. Home carports, single-span structures in most cases, can accommodate about 11.5 kWp. This output is multiplied by the number of spans in LONG type solar mounting structures.
